Dave Remboldt - Program Director and host of "The Daily Grind"
I will never stop being in awe of what God is up to! Even a few months before I became Program Director for KFEX radio, I would have never guessed what He was about to do. I have a passion for reaching people through the radio, and I’m so glad He chose to put me here with KFEX!
My wife and I, along with our 4 children, have called Chanute home for 10 years. I have had various jobs working with youth in the community, and am currently the youth pastor at Living Word Assembly of God. I believe the children are our future, teach them well, and let them lead the way. We teach our children to be seekers of God, and they will rise up as the next generation. I want to see this in the youth of southeast Kansas. I want to see revival in the hearts of young people, and I believe KFEX is uniquely positioned to have a hand in helping spread the fire of hearts burning for Christ.
I love that I get to share my awesome sense of humor (Ha!), my passion for the Lord, and my love of music with you all everyday! Keep it locked in...
Shari Wendt - Host of "Single Spark"
Shari Wendt is married and has three children and one grandchild and “I have also had the privilege of being part of a praise band with my family. I’m not terribly musical, but God gave me the ability to keep a beat; so I play the drums for our band. I love working with children and high school youth and leading Bible studies for women/couples. Studying God’s word is a delight to my heart.”
Shari has named her show “Single Spark”. “My hope is to use the show to ignite a passion for God in the hearts of the listeners. As I pondered the possibilities for names, I realized that if the conditions are right, all that is needed is a single spark to set a raging fire that consumes everything in touches! I was compelled to look up the meaning for my given name, and there it was: “Single Spark.” God had spoken it into being…Praise the Lord!” ”Single Spark” airs on Sundays at 8am and 1pm as well as Wednesdays at 7am. Listen in and be blessed!
